✅ Currently enrolled at a Central Coast community college (Cuesta, Hancock, or partner institution)
✅ OR community college graduate within the past 2 years
✅ Able to commit 6-8 hours per week for 10 weeks
✅ Access to a computer and reliable internet
✅ Willingness to learn and experiment
✅ No prior business experience required

A: The program is self-funded. There are no fees, no tuition, and no cost of any kind from the incubator. The student must pay for their own use of AI tools to start with.
Q: Do I need to have a business idea before applying?
A: No! The IDS Framework teaches you to generate ideas systematically. You’ll create 100+ ideas during the program.
Q: What if I'm working full-time?
A: The program is designed for busy students. It’s self-paced and requires 6-8 hours per week, which you can complete on your own schedule
Q: Will I need to give up equity in my business?
A: Absolutely not. You own 100% of your business. We don’t take equity, royalties, or fees from your venture.
Q: What AI tools will I learn?
A: You’ll work hands-on with the leading GenAI tools used in business today — including AI agents and orchestration systems — selected each cohort to reflect what’s actually being deployed in the market. The goal isn’t to master one tool; it’s to develop judgment about which tool fits which task.
Q: Is this program online or in-person?

A: You’ll have the option to join our Alumni Innovation Guild with continued community access, advanced training opportunities, and potential revenue-sharing partnerships

A: Recent graduates (within 2 years) are eligible. We also consider special cases on an individual basis.

A: We evaluate applications based on motivation, commitment, and fit with program values—not prior experience or grade

That’s part of the process. The IDS framework is built for iteration — testing ideas quickly so you can pivot before investing too much. Most students generate dozens of ideas before landing on their strongest concept.
